Part: Honda CB350 / CB360 / CB450 Angled Boot Pod Filters
Why You Need This: Air filters are notoriously missing on any Honda CB350 / CB360 / CB450 motorcycle. The first Honda CB360 I ever purchased came missing the factory air filters
and boxes! Not to mention depending on the sub model variation, factory style air filers may not be available for your specific bike. Odds are if you find some NOS parts they tend to be very expensive and it will require finding all the parts to make them work. The alternative for a while now has been standard straight style
however to use them it required the removal and relocation of the factory battery box and depending on model of bike would not fit under the side covers.
We have come up with the solution to this common problem; we are excited to offer these pod filters with an angled boot! This angle boot pod filter allows you to run a filter and keep the factory battery box in place (its a little snug on some models but they fit). Additionally the filters can be angled and rotated to clear the factory side covers on Honda CB350 / CB360 / CB450 motorcycles. Additionally the filters have the added benefit of acting like a velocity stack, which will increase throttle response on the factory CV style carbs found on Honda CB350 / CB360 / CB450. Pod filters are washable and sold in pairs with mounting clamp. You will need the main jet tuning kit to compensate for the adjusted air flow.
Installation Tip: Pod filters are a snug fit on the ends of the carbs and next to the battery box. Push the filter on as far as it will fit on the opening of the carburetor. Snug the clamp so the filter stays in place, however over tightening the clamp will cause the filter to pop of end of the carburetor. You will have to experiment with the filter orientation to work best with your bike set up.
