Housings have been cleaned. Paint is worn or corroded. The housings are intact with no pin or rust holes. Aftermarket paint.

***Note: These filters are the early style filters. The late CBs and CJs use a different designed filter. It is a smaller rectangular shape enclosed inside a two piece air box. Newer style filters are not available, but an air filter conversion to the old style is possible.

Installation Tip: If you are converting from the late style to the early style filters you may need to make an adapter strap to connect the filter rear bolt hole to the factory mounting tab on the the frame. Be careful not to over tighten the connecting bolt between the two filters and make sure the D shaped seal is in place on the bottom of the battery box.
