Why You Need This: We find that original wiring harnesses on these old Honda CB350 / CB360 / CB450 / CB550 are actually in decent shape and with new terminals properly crimped into place, the harness is ready once again for use. In order to repair the wiring harness on Honda a CB350 / CB360 / CB450 / CB550 new bullet terminals or a multi-spade locking connectors need to be installed on the existing wires. The job can only be completed properly with this open barrel crimping tool, which will give you the clean factory style connections that your bike should have to work properly. We searched for months to find a high quality electrical terminal crimp tool at a reasonable price. Made from heavy gauge plate steel with a compound fulcrum our crimp tool will last for years and produce outstanding results with bullet, spade and many other electrical terminals needed to repair motorcycle wiring harnesses. Or you can just pick up the whole electrical terminal and wiring kit and get it all in one go.

Installation Tip: Make sure to strip the right amount of wire insulation off the wire by test fitting how well the wire fits in the terminal. The connectors should be crimped in place using three stages:

• 1) The inner part of the terminal crimps around the wire.
• 2) The larger crimp goes around the wire insulation.
• 3) The inner crimp needs a second squeeze with the end of the crimp tool to ensure a solid connection.

We also like to solder all connections too so that they are permanent. The suggested wire size for these terminals is 16 gauge.
