Clutch Cable | Honda 175-Series Twins

If the clutch on your Honda CB175 / CL175 Scrambler / SL175 feels stiff and hard to pull, it means the time has come for you to replace the crusty clutch cable with a new one. This new cable measures 47 inches end to end in total length. Note: The SL175 stock clutch cable measures 45.25 inches in length, just under two inches shorter than our new cable. Despite the difference in lengths, our new clutch cable works just fine on the SL175.

Lubricate the cable with some light oil at each end prior to putting it on the bike. Lubricate the pivot at the clutch handle and repack the clutch rod actuator at the other end with grease.
