Factory-Style Rear Shocks for Honda CT90, also known as the "Trail 90"
Note: Sold as a pair. You will receive two shocks—one for the left side and one for the right side.
If the rear shock absorbers on your vintage Honda Trail 90 feel spongy and outdated, you're likely in for a rough ride. Over time, the original factory dampers lose their effectiveness, compromising comfort and performance. Our factory-style replacement shocks not only enhance the look of your Honda CT90 K0-K9 but also significantly improve ride quality. Unlike the rear shocks found on early CT90 (K0-K6) models, these are adjustable. They feature a standard spring pre-load adjuster and are designed to restore the smooth, dependable ride you've been missing.
The early Honda Trail 90 models (K0-K6) had shocks with shrouds matching the bike's color. Our replacement shocks replicate the later Trail 90 (K7-K9) factory shocks with exposed springs. While they differ in appearance, they will still fit and perform excellently on earlier CT90 models.
Measured Dimensions:
Lubricate the shock bushings before installation for easier mounting to the frame. Adjust the spring pre-load to match your weight and riding style. When seated, the shocks should compress 20%-30% of their travel distance—measured from the bottom of the rubber bumper on the chrome shock tube to the top of the piston seal on the lower body tube. Remember to adjust the spring pre-load when carrying a passenger.
