Part: Front Drive Sprocket (15-tooth) for Honda CB175K6* / CB175K7 / CL175K6* / CL175K7 / CB200 / CL200 Scrambler Motorcycles
Why You Need This: Sprockets are an ongoing wear item for vintage motorcycles such as the Honda CB200 / CL200 Scrambler. Depending on the mileage and care the previous owner put into the proper chain adjustment and lubrication, your front sprocket may be worn out.
Signs of wear on sprockets are thin and pointy teeth with asymmetrical wear. When you see these, it is time to replace your sprockets with new ones. Our CMC replacement sprockets are made with quality steel and are exact replacements for the factory sprocket originally found on your Honda CB175K6*-K7 / CL175K6*-K7 / CB200K0 / CB200T / CL200 Scrambler. This 15T sprocket fits the factory 520 pitch drive chain.
Note*: It is possible that early CB175K6* / CL175K6* models use a 428 drive chain / sprockets. Be sure to check if you need 428 or 520 pitch drive chain / sprockets before purchasing.
Installation Tip: If you are installing a new front sprocket you should also be installing a new solid roller drive chain and rear drive sprocket. A new chain and sprockets will ensure tighter handling on the road and better throttle response. When installing the new sprockets and chain use a high quality chain lube, such as the Honda Chain Lube over gear oil.
