Why You Need This: If you have the engine all apart on your Honda CB360 / CL360 / CJ360, change your cam chain. A new cam chain will keep your valve and ignition timing spot on. Always change out the cam chain tensioner when putting in a new cam chain. This premium Japanese-made chain is 92 links long and comes as a broken loop. It includes a press type master link, it must be press together with a chain tool. This also means you can change out the cam chain without having to remove the cylinder head and split the case.

Installation Tip: Soak chain in motor oil prior to installation. Always reassemble the engine with fresh gaskets and sealer.

A perfect fit, really appreciated the fact that it was already exact length (46 links), which meant it didn't have to be shortened. Coupled to the old chain with a piece of copper #14 wire, the new one fed down into the engine and around the lower sprocket easily by slowly hand turning the engine. Brought cam chain tensioner push bar measurement to within spec published in the Honda original factory recall notice -- thanks very much for that link! Very satisfied customer.

I didn't want to split the cases to replace an old cam chain, this was the perfect solution! Like others, I tied the new chain to the old with a thick wire and pulled through. Note: The master link is "press-fit" type. No need to peen/flare the pins!
