The factory Phillips-head (JIS) screws on your CB360 carburetors are notorious for stripping and rounding out — especially after decades of impact-driver service. This CMC-designed stainless steel kit replaces the float bowl, diaphragm cover, and carburetor mounting-plate screws with proper socket-head Allen bolts that actually grip, so every carb teardown gets faster instead of more frustrating.
If you tune these bikes, you pull the carbs apart more than you'd care to admit. Every time, the soft factory Phillips screws lose a little more of their heads — and a stripped screw on the diaphragm cover or float bowl can turn a quick service into a drill-and-extract job.
These replacements are stainless steel with Allen (socket-head) drives. They take a hex key instead of a worn-out JIS bit and come out clean the next time you're in there. The kit is made from stainless, so it won't rust, and it covers the three places the factory screws live: the float bowl, the diaphragm (top) cover, and the plate that mounts the carburetor to the bike. Matching washers are included.
Note: One kit has the bolts for a single carburetor. The CB360 / CL360 / CJ360 is a twin, so order two kits to do both carbs.
Difficulty: Beginner
Tools needed: Allen (hex) key set
Our CB360 carburetor rebuild video walks through the float bowl and diaphragm work where these bolts are used.
Two. Each kit contains the bolts for one carburetor, and the CB360 / CL360 / CJ360 is a parallel twin with two carbs — so order two kits to do the whole bike.
Yes. The same Keihin carburetors run across the CB360G, CB360T, CL360, and CJ360T from 1974 through 1977, so this kit fits the entire 360 family.
Not for the bolt swap itself. But most people install these while the carbs are already apart for a rebuild or a sync, which is the easiest time to do it. If you're rebuilding, add our CB360 / CL360 / CJ360 Carburetor Rebuild Kit.
Yes — the kit includes the matching washers for the float bowl, diaphragm cover, and mounting plate.
