Why You Need This: Once you have cracked open the engine cases of your CB175, SL175 or CL175 Scrambler, get as much internal engine work done as possible. Now is the perfect time to put in a brand new cam timing chain. This 82 link Japanese made premium roller chain comes as an open-loop and includes a separately bagged press style master link. This is an improvement on the Honda OEM clip style connection adding more security. You will need a Chain Tool to press in the master link. Before you start this project, make sure you have the required gaskets and oil seals. A little bit of Honda Bond goes a long way to give your rubber gaskets a little bit of extra sealing power.
The Cam Chain is cut to order and will come open. It will include the master link.
Installation Tip: Just like most internal engine parts, cam chains need oil. Give your cam chain a bath in motor oil prior to closing up the engine.
