Why You Need This: Your CB200 or CL200 Scrambler is already out of the frame and you have had to open the engine casings, this is the time to replace your cam timing chain. Measuring in at 86 links, this premium chain is cut to order and is shipped as an open-loop. It also includes a separately bagged master link. Unlike your drive chain, the cam chain connects using a pressed-in master link. You will need a Chain Tool to do this properly. If your paper and rubber gaskets looked a little worse for wear, make sure you have the correct gasket kit to put everything back together.
The Cam Chain is cut to order and will come open. It will include the PRESS type master link that requires a Chain Tool. This is NOT a rivet type master link.
Installation Tip: Bathe your new cam chain in motor oil prior to installation. This will help ensure that your chain is well lubricated.
