Headlight Lens & H4 Bulb Kit | Honda CB175 / CB200 / CB350 / CB450
The factory sealed-beam headlight on these vintage Hondas is dim, and when it burns out you replace the whole unit. This 6.25" lens converts your headlight to a modern, replaceable H4 bulb, so you get a brighter beam and never throw away the lens again.
Why You Need This
A fifty-year-old sealed beam goes dim and yellow, and you can't just change the bulb, because the bulb and lens are one sealed piece. This lens drops into your factory bucket and trim ring and takes a standard H4 bulb you can swap anytime.
The kit comes with a 35-watt H4 halogen, a real step up from the old sealed beam while staying within what these old charging systems can handle. Want more light with even less draw? Choose the LED bulb at checkout.

Note: Stick with the 35-watt bulb. A common 55- or 60-watt H4 is too much load for these old charging systems.
Note: This lens mounts differently from the factory sealed beam and bypasses the left-right aim screw, so you aim it by tilting the bucket. That's normal, not missing hardware.
Model-Specific Notes
What's in the Kit
- 6.25" H4 conversion lens (marked "top" for orientation)
- H4 bulb (35W / 35W halogen, or LED if selected)
- Mounting hardware
- New electrical pigtail connector
Note: The headlight bucket and trim ring are not included. This is a lens-and-bulb kit that drops into your existing bucket.
Installation
Difficulty: Beginner
Tools needed: Screwdriver, needle-nose pliers
- Remove the trim ring and take out the old sealed beam.
- Seat the new lens in the trim ring with the "top" mark up. It's held by wire clips, and needle-nose pliers help on the first install.
- Wire the included pigtail into your headlight harness.
- For the optional yellow parking light, connect the green wire to ground and the brown wire to the parking-light power at the gauge cluster.
- Reinstall the trim ring and aim the light by tilting the bucket.

Frequently Asked Questions
Does this fit my CB450 K5, K6, or K7?
No. The K5 through K7 (and the CB500T and CB550) use the larger 7-inch headlight. This 6.25-inch lens fits the CB450 K1 through K4. For the later bikes, see our 7-inch headlight kit.
Will it fit my CB360 or CL360?
No. The CB360 and CL360 take a 6.25-inch lens, but it won't seat in their factory bucket, so you'll want the full headlight bucket kit. The CJ360 does take this lens.
Does the H4 bulb draw more power than the stock sealed beam?
The 35-watt H4 is sized to stay within what these old charging systems can handle. Avoid the common 55- or 60-watt H4 bulbs, which are too much load.
Can I run an LED instead?
Yes. Choose the LED bulb at checkout, or add our LED H4 bulb later. It's brighter and draws even less than the halogen.
Is the headlight bucket included?
No. This is a lens-and-bulb kit. If your bucket is rusted or cracked, get the headlight bucket kit, which comes with a new bucket.
