Are your mufflers looking like Swiss cheese? Finding an original pair in good shape for a CB350 can be tough. That's why we offer these clean replacement mufflers. Although they are not exact reproductions of the Honda CB350 mufflers, they have a period-correct stock style appearance and fit very well. A cost-effective alternative to aftermarket systems, these mufflers optimize engine performance over open pipes, sound great, and add a bit of gusto to your motorcycle. Mufflers are sold in pairs.

Installation

Difficulty: Intermediate

Tools needed: Metric hand tools, Allen wrench, Flathead screwdriver, File, Hacksaw, Step drill bit, Adjustable wrench

1. Remove the old Honda CB350 mufflers and inspect the header pipes for wear or damage.
2. Replace the copper exhaust gaskets if originals are squished or worn.
3. Clean the header pipe ends and install the graphite crush gaskets or included collars before fitting the mufflers. (See the full installation article for gasket recommendations.)
4. Mount the mufflers using the factory brackets or modify the included universal brackets as shown in the full installation article.
5. Position the included stainless T-bolt clamps over the muffler inlets for final assembly.
6. Slide each muffler onto the header pipe until it seats correctly right before the stop ring.
7. Leave all mounting hardware loose and align the complete exhaust system before final tightening.
8. Adjust the mufflers for proper frame, foot peg, and center stand clearance. See the full installation article for alignment tips.
9. Tighten the header, bracket, and clamp hardware evenly to create a secure, leak-free exhaust seal.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I reuse the factory muffler mounting brackets on a Honda CB350?

Yes. The factory brackets are the preferred option because they provide a cleaner and more secure two-point mount.

Should I use the metal adapter collars that come with the mufflers?

We highly recommend the use of our graphite crush gaskets over the metal collars included with the mufflers.

Do I need to replace the copper crush gaskets at the cylinder head?

Replace them if they are flattened, damaged, or missing.

Can I remove the baffles from these mufflers?

Yes. The mechanical baffles are removable and can be inspected, cleaned, or packed with additional baffling.

Should I use threadlocker on the muffler hardware?

Yes, we recommend using red threadlocker on the bracket bolts if desired, but only after the full exhaust system is mocked up and aligned.

Will this fit my CL350 or SL350?

Yes and no. If you find a set of used original CB350 headers and collars, then they can be bolted onto your CL350 and SL350 K0 with these mufflers in the same manner. The SL350 K1 and K2 use a different frame and will not fit without a custom mounting solution.
