Part: Honda CB200 / CL200 Allen Bolt Kit

Why You Need This: With a set of Allen Bolts on your Honda CB200 or CL200 Scrambler, removing any of the engine covers becomes an easy task. No need to track down a specialized screwdriver or to have a screw extractor at hand for the rusted, stripping prone Japanese Industry Standard (JIS) Phillips head screws. Just use the included allen key wrenches and cut routine maintenance time in half.  Changing out the 50-year-old JIS screw head bolts is one of the simplest upgrades you can make to your vintage CB200 or CL200 Scrambler. Make sure to have the necessary replacement gaskets before removing your bolts.

Kit Includes Bolts for:

  • Left Crankcase
  • Right Crankcase
  • Stator Cover
  • Oil Filter Cover
  • Sprocket Cover
  • Points Cover
  • Right Cam Cover
  • Left Cam Cover
  • Tachometer Drive Cover
  • Electric Start Motor mount bolts

Installation Tip: Use an impact driver for best results when removing the old bolts. Add a healthy amount of an anti-seize compound on the new Allen head bolts and future removal will be a breeze.

Awesome
Anyone who has taking apart a 50 year old bike with JIS screws, knows you're not going to want to put them back in to your fresh built motor. This stainless steel bolt set comes with diagrams and descripions to help show you where each on belongs. The engine casing and covers that I am painstakingly cleaning and polishing will look great thanks to the new hardware.
