Part: Honda CB350 / CL350 Scrambler / SL350 Engine Overhaul Bundle
Why You Need This Part: It's inevitable, after miles on the open road and stop light after stoplight your engine will need to be overhauled. The winter time is perfect for you to dive into your CB350 / CL350 Scrambler / SL350 to inspect and freshen things up. Well if you've decided to take the plunge and dig into the engine and transmission we have assembled a basic overhaul kit with the parts that will need to swapped out at the bare minimum to call the job complete. Sure you may not need a new cam chain or pistons, but gaskets, seals and rings all should be replaced during this service.

Installation Tip: Clean your surfaces well and remove all traces of the old gaskets along with any blobs of silicone that have been used along the way. A light coat of grease can keep gaskets from sticking when taking things like side covers off. Measure your cylinders to see if they are within service limits, see pages 26 - 32 in the factory service manual. If so then cylinders can be honed. Use some motor oil when honing the cylinders and wash thoroughly after to remove all honed residue. The impact driver will make it easy to remove the original JIS Phillips screws from the crankcase, which will be replaced by the stainless steel Allen bolts. Use some anti-seize on the threads when installing.
*Note: SL350K1 & K2 will need to add #4023 Gasket kit for your engine.
