Part: Honda CL / CJ / CB360 Stainless Steel Allen Bolt Kit

You Need This: If you haven't figured it out yet the Philips head screws on the Honda engine side cases always strip out and the CL / CJ / CB360 are no exception. Instead of struggling with them, swap over to some nice clean stainless steel Allen bolts. The Allen bolts are much easier to install and remove, especially when taking the side covers on and off the engine for service. Speaking of which, the service gasket kit makes the routine maintenance even easier. Kits include the necessary allen wrenches too.

Installation Tip: Remove the old screws with an impact driver. Use some anti-seize compound on the threads of the bolts and make sure not to over tighten.

Standard Kit Includes: Stainless Steel Allen head bolts for:

  • Side covers (Left & Right)
  • Chain cover
  • Rotor cover
  • Allen wrenches M4 & M5

Deluxe Kit Includes: Everything in the standard kit plus bolts for:

  • Points cover
  • Valve cover / Rocker arm cover
  • Breather cover
  • Tachometer cable
  • Allen wrenches M3 & M6

These look great, but more importantly, I couldn't imagine performing the regular services without them. Thanks for the suggestion Brenden!!

Allen bolt kit
So happy to get rid of those crusty screws. I also purchased the impact driver to help with removing the old hardware. The Allen screws are the way to go for sure. A +
