Why You Need This Part: So here before you are a pair of 33 mm standard style fork seals for your Honda CB360 / CL360 / CJ360 and the coveted CB450 K0 black bomber. OEM quality seals just like Honda used at the factory when your bike was new. They work very well, just need a little extra finesse when installing them. These fork seals are a thriftier option to the EZ install fork seals. Get some new fork dust boots and when doing your rebuild and you are set. Installation Tip: Lubricate the inner diameter of each seal with fork oil during installation. A large socket or piece of pipe works well as a seal an installation tool. The seals only need to be driven in just below the wire retaining clip groove so be careful not to drive them in too far. See our install guides below for some extra techniques .
The CB360 / CL360 / CJ360 factory spec fork oil volume is 140cc / 4.7oz. per leg of ATF (Automatic Transmission Fluid @ approx 5 weight), however, we recommend specific motorcycle fork oil in 10 weight for riders under 200 lbs and 15 weight for riders over 200 lbs. The extra viscosity is provided by the heavier weight oil with firm up the front end.
