Why You Need This: The left side handlebar switch box on the Honda CB360, CL360 Scrambler, CJ360 / CB500T / CB550K, CB550F / CB750 K3, K4, K5, CB750F controls the high/low beam of the headlight, horn, turn signals and acts as the mounting perch for your clutch lever and left side mirror. We often find that the handlebar switch box on many an old Honda CB360, CL360 Scrambler, CJ360 / CB500T / CB550K, CB550F / CB750 K3, K4, K5, CB750F is in less great condition. Sometimes it is hacked-up wires, malfunctioning switches, or even a broken clutch perch casting (thanks previous owner...).

For years now the best option has been to make what you have work or try and piece a good switch box together from several used units in an attempt to make a working switch box. Life just got easier as we are happy to offer this brand new reproduction handlebar switch box that looks and functions just like the original unit on your Honda CB360, CL360 Scrambler, CJ360 / CB500T / CB550K, CB550F / CB750 K3, K4, K5, CB750F. Match this up with the right-side handlebar switch box and have fully functioning controls once again!

Installation Tip: If you are using original Honda handlebars that route the wiring through the inside of the bars, installation can be a bit tricky. Use some string and thread it through the handlebars from the center opening to the side you are working on. Tie the string to the cluster of connectors and pull the bundle of wires through the bars. A little Windex will help lubricate the rubber housing when pulling the cables through the bars. There is an alignment peg in the lower half of the switch box, make sure to position it in the hole drilled in the bars. Use a dab of anti-seize compound on the threads of the installation screws when closing the two halves of the switch box and be careful not to pinch or chafe any wires.

Switch Wiring Configuration

The wiring of this switch is slightly different from the original factory unit.

Works
Works great but the wires are about a foot shorter than factory. Had to make jumpers to route the wires properly. 1975 cb360t

Works great
I was replacing my OEM unit which had seen some moons and the wires were cracking and not pliable at all. Instead of rewiring the OEM unit; I chose to save time and buy this instead. Was a no brainer for me; save time and get a plug and play unit or spend hours and rewire OEM unit with non factory color wires. My only complaint is the wires can't be routed outside (RHS unit sold here allows you to do that) the handlebar. I had to dremel the lower housing to allow the wires to be routed outside. Thank you common motor

Great for CB360T
Looks great and works. Only complaint is that the wire colors displayed on the advertisement didn't exactly match the actual product, so I had to do a little guesswork to get the wiring right when I did the install.
