The factory Phillips head screws on the Honda CB360 upper engine covers strip out — it's practically inevitable. Every time you pull a cover to get at the points, the valves, or the tach drive, you risk rounding another head. This stainless steel Allen bolt kit replaces the upper engine cover fasteners with socket head cap screws that won't strip and look clean doing it. Allen wrenches (M3 and M6) are included.
Honda used Phillips head screws across the CB360 engine. They corrode, they strip, and they make routine work harder than it needs to be. Allen (socket head) bolts grip positively with an Allen wrench — no cam-out, no stripped heads, no frustration. Stainless steel resists corrosion and keeps your engine looking sharp.
This is the Upper kit — it covers the points cover, the valve (rocker) cover, the breather cover, and the tachometer cable. The matching Lower Allen Bolt Kit is available as a checkbox add-on and covers the side covers (left and right), chain cover, and rotor cover.
Optional Add-On (Lower Kit) Includes:
Difficulty: Beginner
Tip: If you're pulling covers for service, grab a CB360 Service Gasket Kit so you have fresh gaskets ready to go.
No — this is the Upper kit only. It covers the points cover, valve cover, breather cover, and tachometer cable. The Lower Allen Bolt Kit (available as a checkbox add-on) covers the side covers, chain cover, and rotor cover. To convert every exterior fastener, get both.
Those are on the lower end of the engine — you'll want the Lower Allen Bolt Kit. This Upper kit covers the points, valve, breather, and tach covers.
