Why You Need This: Few parts are more critical on your motorcycle than the cables connecting you to the engine. If your throttle is not snapping closed properly, something is wrong. This throttle cable kit includes both the “pull” and “push” cables to restore that buttery smooth feeling your Honda had when it was new. Honda designed the push cable as a fail-safe to close the carbs in an emergency. If one cable is worn or broken, the other likely isn’t far behind—replace them as a pair.
Installation Tip: Lubricate each cable with some light oil at each end prior to putting them on the bike. Lubricate the nylon throttle sleeve as well with a light grease and oil slurry.
