Brakes and Wheels parts for Honda CT90 / Trail 90 motorcycles

The Honda CT90 / Trail 90 utilize identical 17" rims on front and rear wheels. Their respective hubs contain mechanical drum brakes on both the front and rear as well. While simple and reliable, these brakes require regular maintenance to ensure optimal performance, especially for off-road use. A proper brake overhaul for the CT90 includes clean drums, fresh brake shoes, properly adjusted cables, and lubricated linkages. Early K0 - K5 models used a left handlebar lever for actuating the rear drum in conjunction with the foot pedal. K6 and up only have the foot pedal for the rear. Front and rear wheels both use the same sized brake shoes, however the K5 and up has a redesigned front brake mounting plate, which utilizes a different front brake cable style.
