Endless cam chain for vintage Honda CT90 / Trail 90 motorcycles

As it ages, a motorcycle's cam chain stretches and wears. While the bike's built-in cam chain tensioner, can keep the chain tight for a long while, eventually the chain stretches to the point beyond the tensioner's adjustment range. If a cam chain stretches too much, it can throw off your valve timing and ignition timing, which will negatively affect your bike's performance. Even worse it can skip a tooth on the crankshaft or cam sprockets, which is bad news for your engine.

If your vintage Honda Trail 90 or CT90's cam chain is worn out, broken, or if you're giving the engine a thorough rebuild, we offer this endless cam chain to keep your little single running at peak performance. This is an endless loop cam chain that is made in Japan @ 86 links long.

Make sure to soak your new cam chain in motor oil before installing to ensure the links are properly lubricated. See the instructions in the Honda CT90 factory service manual for information on installing your new endless cam chain.

NOTE: This is an endless cam chain and does not come with a master link because it's not needed. If you need a master link, contact us for a custom order.
