Brass Carburetor Float for Honda CT90
The most sensitive part of a vintage Honda CT90's carburetor is the float. The original brass carburetor floats are prone to corrosion, thin spots, or pinhole leaks, which compromises the buoyancy of the floats. If your float no longer “floats,” our high-quality brass float will easily replace the OEM part with no fuss. Sold individually, one float fits one carburetor and includes the needed pivot pin. If your carbs haven't been cleaned or serviced lately, we recommended checking out our carburetor rebuild kits.
NOTE: Honda changed the CT90 carburetor design in 1978, and those carbs use a different float. These floats WILL NOT FIT CT90s with the redesigned carburetors.
To make sure your float doesn't have a hole in it, submerge it in a clear glass filled with gasoline and watch out for bubbles. If you get bubbles, you have a hole. Be very careful when handling carburetor floats, they are quite fragile and easy to bend, dent, or break.
