Replacement Carburetor and Main Jet Kit for Honda CT90 - "Trail 90" motorcycles. This carburetor is often referred to as the two-screw float bowl design.
Is your vintage Honda CT90 / Trail 90 (K1-K8) carburetor beyond repair? While many carburetors on these old bikes can be salvaged with a rebuild kit, some are simply too far gone for repair or missing altogether. If you are restoring a barn-find Trail 90 or just need a reliable replacement carburetor, we've got you covered.
We understand the market is flooded with many aftermarket carburetors listed to fit the CT90; however, many are of questionable quality, lack parts support, or are simply the incorrect design for the model. After extensive testing, we have found this specific version to be the most accurate replacement for the original Keihin model. It fits, looks, and operates just like the factory unit and is indeed the best replacement carburetor for your CT90 K1-K8.
It features:
During Honda's production years of the CT90, there were many main jet size variations used in the carburetors. To ensure your Trail 90 is properly tuned for your environment, we include our Honda CT90 Main Jet Tuning Kit with this carburetor.
NOTE: This carburetor is NOT COMPATIBLE with the following models: Honda CT90 K0 (4-screw float bowl) and CT90 '78-'79 (round float bowl), which use different carburetor designs.
Before installing the carburetor, the carb bowl drain barb MUST be shortened (cut) by approximately a quarter inch to ensure proper clearance with the case. Do not attempt to use the top cap, slide, needle, or return spring from a previous carburetor in the new carburetor body. Install the new top cap and slide on the throttle cable as a complete assembly.
Do not overtighten the carburetor to the intake manifold, as you may strip threads in the casting or cause the flange to bow, resulting in an air leak. The "O" mark on the fuel inlet barb is for the run position, and the "R" mark is for the reserve position.
