Wheel bearings are a high-wear component and an often-overlooked part of your bike's performance and safety. If your rear wheel feels rough when spinning, squeals when turning, leaks grease, or has excessive lateral play, it's time to replace the wheel bearings.
We offer this high-quality rear wheel bearing kit as a direct replacement for the worn-out OEM bearings on your vintage Honda CT90. Each kit includes two sealed bearings, pre-greased for both the drive side and brake side, along with a dust seal. These bearings are a perfect match for the original OEM-style bearings and will provide years of trouble-free service.
Place the new bearings in the freezer for a few hours before installation. This will slightly shrink them, making installation easier. Use a heat gun on the hub to expand the aluminum, which helps with both removing the old bearings and installing the new ones.
To install, use a large socket or a tube just smaller than the new bearing's outer race to drive the bearings into place. Do not press on the inner race or dust covers, as this will damage the bearing during installation.
