Why You Need This

The gas caps on classic Honda twins and fours take a lot of abuse. Exposure to weather, fuel, and constant hard use can leave them pitted, rusty, warped, or otherwise heavily damaged. If your flip-top fuel cap has seen better days, replace it with a Common Motor Collective model.

Note: Original thumb latches must be re-used if in good shape. If your latch is broken, select our optional replacement latch or upgrade to the locking gas cap latch when ordering your new gas cap to replace the entire assembly.

Installation Tip

Use a very tiny punch or a small finishing nail to drive out the original rivet to remove the old cap. New caps use a pin held in place with a small circlip.

Must Have!

A new gas tank cup is a must have if you are having problems with a rusted out tank. Do yourself a favor and replace the gas cap after de-rusting your tank, especially if it has never been done before.
