Part: Honda CB350 / CB360 / CB450 / CB550 Front Axle Holder
Why You Need This: If the front forks on your Honda CB350 / CB360 / CB450 / CB550 are missing this front axle holder, here is a new one for you. This is an exact replacement part straight from Japan. The front axle holder is directional specific, there is an arrow on the bottom side of the holder that indicates which side of the parts needs to face the front of the bike. If you look closely at the side of the holder at the flat surfaces that meet up to the lower part of the fork tube you will notice that one is taller than the other, the taller side faces the front of the motorcycle. Fits all variations of the forks used over the years found on Honda CB350 / CB360 / CB450 / CB550 motorcycles. It will also fit Honda CB750, CB400 and CB350F as well.
Installation Tip: Make sure to orient the holder with arrow facing the front of the bike. Torque the retaining nuts to 19.5 - 23.5 ft / lbs / 25 - 31 Newton Meters. The front nut must be torqued to spec first and then the rear nut second. When properly installed there will be a slight gap between the rear of the axle holder and the bottom of the fork tube. If not then the holder has been installed backwards.
