Why You Need This

Front wheel bearings are an incredibly important part of your motorcycle's running gear, and are pivotal to the bike's safety and handling. If the front wheel bearings on your vintage Honda CB200 / CB350G / CB350F Supersport / CB400F Supersport / CB450 / CB500T / CB500K / CB550K / CB550F Supersport / CB750 / CB750F Supersport / CB750A Hondamatic motorcycle are crunchy or leaking, or if your wheel has excessive lateral play, then those bearings need to be replaced.

We offer this high-quality rear wheel bearing kit to replace your worn, busted, OEM unit. Each kit comes with two sealed bearings with ample grease for both the drive side and brake side and a dust seal. They are a perfect match for the old OEM-style bearings and will provide you with years of trouble-free service.

Installation Tip

Place the new bearing in the freezer for a few hours before installing. This will shrink the bearing slightly and make installation easier. Use a heat gun on the hub to expand the aluminum, making removing the old bearings and installing the new ones quicker and easier. A large socket or a tube just smaller than the new bearing's outer race should be used to drive in the new bearings. Do not press on the inner race or dust covers as you will damage the bearing while installing it.

NOTE: The o-ring is a dust shield and is sandwiched between the inner and outer plates bolted to the right side of the wheel hub. Please see photo for reference.

Front wheel bearing rebuild
I replaced the bearings on my disc equipped 1974 CB350 front wheel. The help video provided all the tips required to get the job done! Thanks for the tip on using heat to make the pressing in/out of the bearings easy! I give Common-motor and this kit 2 thumbs up!
