Why You Need This: If you have replaced your headlight with one of Common Motor's Headlight Bucket Kits or Lens Kits, this is the replacement halogen light bulb.

Common Motor Part #

A high-quality European-made H4 halogen bulb at 35W/35W for the high and low beam. This bulb is the replacement for all of our headlight lenses. We spec these bulbs as they will not over burden the charging system on the old Hondas but shine brighter than the factory sealed beams. Sold individually. Bulb will also fit other buckets that accept H4 style bulbs.

Installation Tip: Do not touch the glass of the bulb as the oil in your fingers can cause a crack when it heats up. Clean the bulb with some rubbing alcohol to remove any finger prints. NOTE this bulb will not fit the factory sealed beam lens on any of the models listed below.

H4 35w/35w bulb
I like it. I installed a H4 headlite assembly in my honda 550F. It came with a 55 watt H4 bulb witch is too much for the charging system. You can't buy a 35 watt H4 bulb at the autoparts store. The 35 watt bulb is perfect match to the original bulb.

You need this. Don't be tempted to run an automotive bulb - it will drain the battery even with the engine running. You can go LED if you like but if you want to stay old school this is the way to go,

headlight hack
Bought the bulb thinking it was plug and play fit. It was not. Hmmm. What to do with the new bulb? Instead of buying the assembly I cut out a square hole in the old headlight reflect and used high temp silicon to seal. So far so good
