Part: Honda CB360 / CB450 / CB500 / CB550 Master Cylinder Cover
Why You Need This: Like all the other disc brake parts found on the Honda CB360 / CB450 / CB500 / CB550 motorcycles, the master cylinder cover may need to be replaced. We often find them stuck in place due to corrosion, which can cause the threads on the inside to crumble once removed. Other times we see that some knucklehead of a previous owner has taken a monkey wrench to the outer edges of the master cylinder cover and chewed it up worse than a dog bone while trying to remove it. Yes we have seen that more than once before, so we used to keep a stash of clean caps that we rounded up a the junk yard. That is something that you do not have to worry about these days as we have a brand new master cylinder cover that fits just like the original on your Honda CB360 / CB450 / CB500 / CB550. Caps comes with the plastic vent washer that is often missing as well. Add a new reservoir diaphragm or just grab the master cylinder rebuild kit, brake lever and your rebuild will be complete.
Installation Tip: Do not over tighten the master cylinder cover as it only needs to be hand sung for easy removal.
