Latch for Honda Flip Top Gas Cap

This took 5 seconds to install and fit perfectly. The older locking latch had broken long ago and had to be removed and reinstalled every time at the gas station so let’s just say this was an appreciated upgrade. The locking latches are so expensive as well, I’d say this is the way to go for sure. The spring is a bit hard and makes it difficult to open and close the first few times but after a few fill ups it’s working perfectly

It alway irritated me having a lockable gas cap on an old motor bike. You can't just check the fuel level without the key ! So this is good. Seems well made. It's nice that it comes with 2 retaining clips because they're are easy to lose during installation. BTW. I found the easiest way to install , put the pin in one end and then place the spring into position ,and push the pin thru. and then the clip. Hope this helps.

Never any issues with quality. Prompt service and reasonable freight charge. Makes a nice change when you get stuff shipped to this part of the world.

This very nice latch will enable me to get rid of the locking one currently on the fuel tank.
