Part: Ikon External Fork Springs for Honda CB350 K0-K3 / CL350 K0-K3
Why You Need This: No other system on your vintage Honda CB350 affects ride quality more than suspension, and no suspension upgrade is complete without replacing the front fork springs as well. If you are taking the time to rebuild your forks or just put in new fork seals, it will be worth your time to put some new Ikon fork springs on as well. These springs are dual-rate which allows them to absorb smaller bumps with less fork travel and take the larger bumps by compressing more. Since the Honda external spring forks came from the factory, there has not been a high-quality replacement until now. These external fork springs are exclusive to Common Motor and made in Australia through a collaboration with Ikon. They are also powder-coated to prevent rust and ensure a long life on your motorcycle's suspension. These Ikon front fork springs along with a set of Ikon rear shocks will have you feeling like you are riding on a cloud.
Installation Tip: Install your new forks with the tight windings facing up. Reuse the factory plastic insert that sits inside the external springs. While you have the forks off of the bike, it is a good time to replace the fork seals and swap out the fork oil as well. Follow our full fork rebuild guide below to learn how to do the rebuild and get your front suspension in tip-top shape. You can also install these without the fork boots if you are a fan of the bare spring look.
