Part: Impact Driver Bits (Set of Four)
Why You Need This: Impact drivers are a pretty hefty tool used on the most stubborn of fasteners. The only way to quickly loosen and remove engine side cover screws on your vintage Honda is with an impact driver. Despite their sturdy nature the driver bits do wear out and from time to time, so it is always a good idea to have some extras lying around in your tool stash. Our impact driver bits are sold as a set of four. The includes two Philips and two flat-head bits and is compatible with our Universal Impact Driver Tool.
Note: These replacement bits will NOT fit Unicorn brand impact driver tool.
Installation Tip: When working with an impact driver keeping firm pressure on the fastener before hitting the driver with a hammer is key. A larger hammer will let you apply more force to the driver. We like to use a brass hammer since it is softer, thus has less bounce than a steel one. This tool takes a bit of practice to use and first-time users tend to not hit it hard enough with a hammer. Don't be afraid to REALLY hit it with that hammer. When you hear a good "crack" and the screw head moves, you are hitting it hard enough.
