Part: Torque Wrench | KT Pro Tools
Why You Need This: One of the key precision tools you need to invest in when getting into the world of vintage Honda motorcycles is a torque wrench. Many of the motorcycle's fasteners have a specific torque value (how much you tighten the bolt) when reassembling. Too tight might cause damage from over torquing, while too little may cause the parts to loosen and rattle apart. The factory service manuals have specific torque values published for the nuts and bolts that must be torqued to specification on every motorcycle. This is when the torque wrench comes into the picture, making the process of tightening these specific bolts and nuts to their published values a snap.
These click style torque wrenches by KT Pro Tools are perfect for the job. We offer three different sized torque wrenches with the following specifications:

All three torque wrenches feature quick release ratcheting mechanisms, distinct laser etched torque scale, and spring-loaded locking ring for fast and accurate torque adjustment. Rebuild kits for the heads of each torque wrench are available. Each wrench comes in a protective plastic case.
NOTE: Torque wrenches should be "unloaded" or loosened all the way when not in use so as to not compromise the calibrated spring mechanism inside the wrench. This is a precision tool and should be cared for - i.e. not dropped, jerked on, or used as a breaker bar. Torquing techniques should be smooth and incremental. A quality torque wrench like these KT Pro offerings will provide a lifetime of accurate service when used and cared for correctly.
