You Need It, We May Have It:
Here at Common Motor we offer a wide variety of new parts to keep your vintage Honda running. However, sometimes a used part or two is in order to finish out your bike. We realize the need for things like a used carburetor, a front fender, tachometer, engine side cover, center stand or any other hard part that may be broken, decayed or missing on your project motorcycle.
Over the last decade, we have amassed piles of used parts in our warehouse for the models of Honda motorcycles we support (see the chart below). Since there are so many different types of parts, across various models (& sub models), in rebuild-able, road ready and restoration condition, it is almost impossible to list out everything that we have versus what you may need.
What we have and what we do not:
- Have: Engine parts (pretty much everything), carburetors complete + small parts, wheels + hubs + brake panels, forks, triple trees, gauges, seats, tanks (restorable & road ready), metal air box covers, mounting brackets, untitled frames, brake pedals, kickstands, CB header pipes + hardware, fenders.
- Have Not: Wiring harnesses, mufflers, CL exhaust, perfect tanks, plastic side covers.
How This Works & Why:
A used parts request requires a $10 finding fee (deposit); which will be applied to the final part cost or refunded based on what we have available. It takes us time to go dig up, clean, inspect and photograph a potential used part for you and we need to know that you are serious about the used part you need. Each form submission is good for requesting up to three (3) parts. Fill out the form with your information then pay through checkout.
Depending on the part we may be able to offer a cleaning / blasting / paint service or include new supporting parts on the order for an additional fee. Please make a note when discussing with us. We strive to offer the best used parts we can with as much detail, explanations and transparency as possible.
Step 1:
Fill out a request form for up to x 3 different parts for a single model of motorcycle, add it to your cart and check out. Every three parts or multiple parts for different models will require a separate request and finding fee.

- Part #1: Rear Drum Brake Panel w/hardware
- Part #1 Condition: Road Ready
- Part #2: Front Axle #44301-425-870
- Part #2 Condition: Factory Restoration
- Part #3: Left Carburetor choke shaft & plate
- Part #3 Condition: Rebuildable
- Any Thing Else We Should Know?: I need the brake arm, shoe cam and adjuster for the rear brake panel.
Step 2:
We will contact you within 5 business days via email to confirm that we do or do not have the part(s). The email will include:
- Photo(s) of the item
- Price(s) with shipping estimate
- Description
You can then decide if you would like to purchase the part(s) or not.
Step 3:
- If a part is available and purchase is confirmed, the finder's fee is applied to the balance and remainder must be paid. The part is then packed and shipped to you.
- If a part is available but you choose to pass on the part, $5 is refunded as store credit.
- If no part is available the entire finding fee is refunded.
