If the clutch cable on your Honda CB450 / CL450 Scrambler / CB500T is sticky, damaged, or missing, we have just the thing for you—an OEM-style replacement cable guaranteed to fit your classic Honda. Our clutch cable for Honda 450 and 500-series twins comes in two sizes:Short: The short cable is 46.5 inches end to end (41 inches housing to housing) and is for use on bikes equipped with low-rise, clip-on, clubman, or superbike handlebars.Stock (Long): This cable measures 51.5 inches end to end (46 inches housing to housing) and is the stock CB450 / CL450 Scrambler / CB500T cable length. It can also be used on bikes equipped with mid-rise and scrambler handlebars. Note: Our stock cable is roughly three inches longer than the stock cable used on the CB450 K0, which was 48.5 inches end to end and 42.75 inches housing to housing. While it's longer, the CMC cable still works properly on the K0 models.Installation TipThe stock threaded lower clutch adjuster insert from an old OEM cable must be reused on the new cable as that part is no longer available. Unthread the lower clutch adjuster from your original cable and thread it onto the new cable. Make sure to measure your old cable before ordering a new one, and lube up your new cable before installation for long cable life and proper operation.
