Part: Ikon External Fork Springs for Honda CB450K1-K2 / CL450 K0-K4 - Sold In Pairs
Why You Need This: If you are looking for period-correct replacement external fork springs on your vintage Honda CB450K1-K2 or CL450K0-K4 Scrambler motorcycle, look no further. Common Motor Collective has worked directly with Ikon in Australia to bring you these high-quality external fork springs. These front fork springs are exclusive to Common Motor and are made by the same long-trusted Ikon rear shocks, which you have come to know and love. The fork springs are powder-coated to protect them against the elements and rust, ensuring your new front suspension has a long life on your vintage CB450 or CL450 Scrambler. While you have the forks off of the bike, it is a good time to replace the fork seals and swap out the fork oil as well.
Installation Tip: When removing your old fork springs, be careful not to damage the factory plastic inserts, you will reuse them with the new springs. Since these fork springs are powder coated you can install them without the rubber fork boots if you are a fan of the bare-spring shock look. Follow our full rebuild guide below to replace the fork seals and fork oil while you are at it to have a completely fresh front suspension.
