Front Wheel Bearing Kit | Honda CT90 / Trail 90 (K1-K5)

Front wheel bearing & seal kit for vintage Honda CT90 / Trail 90 motorcycles K1-K5.

NOTE: This wheel bearing kit only fits CT90 / Trail 90 with the early style brake plate (see photos). Some late production K5 models use the later style brake plate found on the K6 & up variants. Here is the Late style brake plate bearing kit for K6 - Up.

Wheel bearings are an often overlooked part of your Honda CT90 / Trail 90's performance and safety. Typically prone to damage from moisture (like riding through all the puddles), which will cause your front wheel bearings to rust and degrade with use. If the wheel is crunchy when you turn it or if has a lot of lateral play, then it's time to replace the wheel bearings. 

Place the new bearing in the freezer for a few hours before installing. This will shrink the bearing slightly and make installation easier. Use a heat gun on the hub to expand the aluminum, this makes removing the old bearings and installing the new ones quicker and easier. A large socket or a tube just smaller than the new bearing's outer race should be used to drive in the new bearings. Do not press on the inner race or dust covers as you will damage the bearing while installing it.
