The oil drain plugs on many vintage motorcycles, including the Honda CT90 / Trail 90, are often damaged or rounded off by a previous "tech," thus making it needlessly difficult and frustrating to remove. Not to mention the aluminum sealing crush washer is often squished so much it lost its sealing ability. Then someone over tightens the plug attempting to make it seal better which aligns the conditions to strip the threads in the crankcase or destroy the plug further (and then the viscous circle continues). Do yourself a favor and get rid of those troubles with a new oil drain plug and fresh crush washer that will fit perfectly on your Honda CT90 / Trail 90. Our OEM drain plug comes with two fresh crush washers and will keep the oil from leaking outside of your engine, making future oil changes a breeze for many years to come.

Before installing the new drain plug, make sure the area around it is clean. Be on the lookout for any old crush washers being stuck to the mating surface. Install the new drain plug with a new crush washer to ensure that there aren't any leaks. Sung but do not over tighten. We suggest using a 6-point socket.
