Why You Need This: That tick, tick, tick sound you hear could very well be an exhaust leak. If you've ever pulled the pipes off your bike there is a good chance there is some leakage around these copper crush o-rings. These Copper Exhaust Pipe Gaskets go between the port on the cylinder head and the exhaust pipe. They create a seal that many people never notice because they are often so squished and covered with carbon. These gaskets are sold in pairs. You might want to pick up some extras, as you will use them. If you have other noise coming from the exhaust system you might want to check between the muffler and pipe as the graphite muffler gaskets wear over time as well.
Installation Tip: Look closely at the exhaust ports, unless you can see the aluminium the old gasket is still in there. Scratch the carbon off the surface with a small screw driver until you see copper then gently pry them out.
