Why You Need This: It is not your fault... Well, it might be, but we have all been there. If your Honda CB450 / CL450 Scrambler / CB500T stator cover has been punctured from one too many drops or if your shift lever has finally rubbed a groove that is starting to leak, you are not alone. The CB450 / CL450 Scrambler OEM stator covers were made from very thin metal and finding the NOS Honda part is pretty rare. Not to worry, Common Motor has your back. Designed and manufactured in the city that put a man on the moon - Houston, TX, our custom stator cover is made from a 6061-t6 solid aluminum billet and either finished with a tumbled aluminum finish or an anodized coating. With a hefty minimum average thickness of 3/16 of an inch (4.7 mm), consider this upgrade even if your current stator cover isn't grooved or punctured. This Honda Stator Shifter Shield provides some serious protection and will turn a few heads. If your motorcycle did end up with its wheels parallel to the pavement, you might also want to add a new Shifter Lever and a Honda Style or Power Style clutch lever to your cart. Take this opportunity to change your oil and replace the Oil Change Gaskets to prevent any further leaks.
